West Broadway Community Ministry Inc.

West Broadway Community Ministry Inc. is a joint social justice ministry of All Saints' Anglican and Young United Churches, which grew from their concerns for the community, particularly for those who are low income or marginalized.

The ministry started in 1970 and incorporated in 1979. They offer a ministry of hospitality through drop-in and other social programs. They offer support, pastoral care, referral, and advocacy. They promote education and awareness of justice issues.

They work with residents and other organizations including the wider church to engage in justice issues of the inner city. While responding to basic needs, they work towards the empowerment of people, their participation in the planning and decision-making, and involvement in identifying changes necessary for a just society.
