Astronomi-con 2010 Registration - We have
opened registration for all 2010 events! We have not capped the
number of entrants at any of our events this year. We do expect our
attendance to be going up this year so please register early to secure your
spot.
Astronomi-con has joined forces with GWNA - Astronomi-con is now part of the offical GWNA 2010-2011 Tournament Circuit
GW 2010-2011 Grand Tournament - Will be taking place in Las Vegas in 2011. The first and second place participants at each Astronomi-con event will be invited to attend the GT.
Navigator Program - As announced earlier this year, we have launched the new Navigator Program for 2010. Alumni and a friend can both register together and each receives a discounted rate!
Codex Changes for 2010 - We are working on several Astronomi-con FAQ updates for armies that have had published rules invalidated due to new codex releases et al. The new Imperial Guard codex affects the Witch Hunters, Daemonhunters, Lost and the Damned, and Elysian D-99 lists. The new Space Wolves codex affects the Space Wolves 13 Company, and all will be getting some adjustments for Astronomi-con tournament play. We are working on these updates and expect to have them released very soon!
Astronomi-con Newsletter - We are once again going to resurrect the monthly Astronomi-con newsletter, so expect that in your inbox later this week!
Astro-Min-Con Vancouver - Aaron "Duke" Hudson, Derrick Maier, and Craig Fleming will be organizing the up-coming Astro-Mini-Con Vancouver which is a 1-day 3-game tournament in the Astronomi-con format. This 10-player event is open to all players, both new to Astronomi-con, and seasoned veterans. More information can be found on their event website.

NEWS (June 17th, 2008):
Updates Galore! - With events fast
approaching no time could be worse for a hard drive failure, but things are now
back to normal and so expect regular updates from now on. The site has
been updated with all of the currently registered players, but army lists are
another matter. If you've already sent in your army lists I would
recommend you do so once again, as many were lost to the warp. Please
resubmit them to
Armylist@Astronomi-con.com.
Astro-mini-con - Our first Astro-mini-con took place at the Winnipeg Battle Bunker store on May 31st. Ten players faced off in a day's worth of Astronomi-con style gaming and a great many spectators regretted not being able to join in on the day. A lot more details including full scoring is to come!
Vancouver Accommodations - Please note that you can book your room for Astronomi-con Vancouver by calling the UBC registration line and making arrangements. Note that the web reservation system is no longer able to accept our reservations at this time. Be sure to state that you are with 'Astronomi-con' to receive our preferred rate, and to count toward our room block!
Vancouver Terrain - We've been faced with a number of challenges this year with respect to Terrain for our Vancouver event. Many players have indicated that they would be bringing terrain for the event, and we will need photos of that terrain so that we can plan accordingly. Please e-mail the webmaster xian@Astronomi-con.com to pass on your terrain photos and scenario ideas as soon as possible. It is not too late to be part of the competition for the Best Terrain award, so please get in contact with us ASAP.
