GENERAL RULES
- Armies must be composed of no greater than 1500 points.
- One Standard Mission Force Organization is allowed per army.
- All armies must be fully painted.
- The tournament is scored out of 100 points as follows:
- 39 points - Game Play
- 30 points - Sportsmanship
- 15 points - Appearance
- 5 points - Army List
- 10 points - Composition
- 1 points - Bonus (for submitting your Army List early)
- 5th Edition Warhammer 40k Rules will be used.
- If the Codex is available for your army you must use it and have it with you during all games, along with your army list for use as a reference.
- All GW Errata (not FAQ) will be used.
- Vehicles from the Imperial Armour books will be allowed. Note: You are still limited to a single Force Organization chart for your army - so no Super-Heavy vehicles are allowed.
- Special Characters WILL be allowed.
- All rulings by the tournament judges will be final.
ASTRO-MINI-CON Special Rules
Each table will have its own specific scenario and terrain. This means that each player will fight a unique set of battles over the course of the tournament. Scenarios may have all kinds of unique Mission Special Rules to present a themed game. Please be sure to read all scenarios carefully!
Armies are entitled to 1 bonus point for submitting their army list at least one week prior to the event.
In missions where there is an Attacker or Defender, Dark Eldar are always the attacker. Should two Dark Eldar armies face off in such a mission, roll-off as normal to see who will be the attacker.
ASTRO-MINI-CON Awards
The following awards will be presented to players at the end of the tournament. Note that a player can only win one award*.
- Best Overall - Highest tournament score
- Best Sportsman - Highest Sportsmanship score
- Best Army - Most Best Army votes
- Best Appearance - Highest Appearance score
- Best General - Highest combined Battle + Composition score
- Best Painted Single Miniature - Most Best Single Miniature votes
- Best Army List - Highest Army List score
