Greetings, This is my New Rollerskating page........

Another passion of mine, is Roller Skating, which I have engaged in since I was 19 years of age.....
I took up Roller Dance Skating (Set pattern Dances....Waltz, Tango, Polka, etc)
and still enjoy it to this day at the old Winnipeg Roller Rink, at Langside and Portage
 which is now called Galaxy Skateland, unfortunately it has been closed down as of June 2007 as
it has been sold to the University of Winnipeg, who will be building a Science Centre on
that spot.
 
I have competed in the past in Provincials and Nationals in the Novice and Esquire Dance categories.

I also took up Roller Skate Judging in the past, where I became a Figures, Freestyle and Dance judge
and have judged Proficiency Tests, Provincials and Nationals. I had been affiliated with RSROA, USAC and CFARS.

My present Skating partner Elaine and myself have also taken up Ballroom Dancing and
enjoy dancing whether on wheels or the dance floor
