Pictures from our Black Powder Muzzle Loading Primitive shooting event held on the full bore rifle range at
Winnipeg Revolver & Pistol Association . It was a nice day and we had a good turn out.

Pre-shoot preperation.

We had a mix of guns used at the match. Cap lock, flint lock, inline modern and even black powder revolver.

The first stage was shooting at shotgun shells (on the left stand).

After the shotgun shells things get a little tougher. The next round is shooting at 303 British cases (on the left).
Next in line is the pretzels then the paying cards. Drinking straws are on the right.
Bags of flour are hung at the bottom.

A hit to the flour bag is easy to see.

The next rack holds vertical strings to be cut. Following the string shoot we have two clays with an ax.

You have to shoot the ax blade and split your ball and break the clays.

Here you had to shoot two shots. One shot had to be in the top of the X, the second in the bottom. The
closest two shots is the winner. Oh yeh, you can't cut the drawn line of the X.

Then the turtle shoot (the clays sitting on the top of the stand).

And finally longer range shooting at steel gongs.
