Most complete target shooting club in Manitoba.Aerial view of our ranges.
The range on the upper left is our 100 meter full bore rifle range. The three white bands
running accross the ranges are baffles, above the line of sight, used to prevent high shot from
leaving the range. The full width of the firing line has a covered roof and a wall behind the
shooter.

Our club house is in the center of the picture tucked into the trees. The rear portion of the
club house is our 18 shooting position 20 yard indoor range. Indoors we shoot handgun
or .22 rimfire rifle. All 18 target postion can rotate and are controlled with an electronic
timer. We also have a runing bore style falling plate target system. It's lots of fun but can
eat up amunition quickly. The series of ranges at the lower right of the image are our outdoor 50 meter ranges.
This is where we shoot our labor day matches. The upper range has turning targets at
25 meters and stationary target holders at 50 meters. During our outdoor matches we
shoot standard pistol, centerfire pistol and free pistol competitions on this range. This
range has individual shooting stalls and are fully covered. The next range is a dual use range (only one use at a time). It has a four position
Olympic Rapidfire target system. This is shot under the covered firing points. The target
are midway down the range at 25 meters. The second use for this range is for shooting at steel plates located close to the backstop.
We currently have two different types of plates. One set of plates rests on a 10' platform.
The plates are about 8 inches in diameter. These are knocked off the platform with a good
hit. The second type of plate is a circular plate that is mounted to a steel shaft with a spring.
These plates do not fall. Just like the running bore type target indoors these steel targets
will eat up your ammo quite fast. Eye protection on this range is required. The chance of
a ricochet is always possible when shooting at steel. The next range has a covered firing and is typically used to shoot .22 rifle (rimfire) with targets
at 50 meters. This range is also used for combat style shooting at paper targets. The trap range is not shown but is located just below the bottom of the picture above or at
the right of the drawing below. The full bore rifle range and the small bore rifle range are also available for rent to law
enforcement agencies or security firms for training and qualifications.
