OLIVIA (Olive) - $14,000 Canadian
2002 Grey Oldenburg Mare
(Odilon x Erste Liebe)

Olive is registered with the German Oldenburg Verband. In 2006 she was inspected and approved into the German Oldenburg Verband Main Mare Book. She is very pretty with an exquisite head and big soft eye. She is an exceptional mover with lots of suspension as well as good drive from behind. She has a very good jump and should excel in either the dressage or hunter ring. In September 2007 she was started under saddle (having had 2 foals in the last 2 years). She was very easy and willing and has a wonderful rhythmic trot. She appears to enjoy being worked and looks very happy while being ridden. She is 15.2 ½ hh and should make a super partner for a junior/amateur rider.

Olive’s 2007 filly, Amazing Grace (left) was rated Premium by the German Oldenburg Verband. She also produced the 2006 colt, Antonio.

She passes on both her movement and temperament.

Olivia’s dam Erste Liebe (by Elektron), a very pretty Hanoverian mare, competed successfully in dressage. She had a very good, quiet temperament that she passed on to all her offspring. She was inspected and approved into the Main Mare Book of the German Oldenburg Verband.

Olivia’s sire is the imported Dutch stallion, Odilon. In 2005 Odilon was the 3rd level Provincial Reserve Champion in dressage in Alberta. He is currently competing at level 4 and schooling Prix St. George. Odilon is by the well known Dutch dressage stallion, Inspekteur (by Darwin) who is known for producing exceptional movement along with a great temperament.

I could not resist breeding Olive again, as her foals have so much presence and character, so she is in foal and due May 26, 2009.

WISEGUY - $12,000 Canadian
2003 Dark Bay Dutch Gelding
(Dublin x Mayfleur xx)

Handsome dark bay registered Dutch gelding. Good mover with 3 good gaits, with a beautiful canter that he inherits from his sire Dublin. Wiseguy has a great temperament and should make a great hunter or dressage horse suitable for an amateur owner/ rider. Wiseguy is 16.1 1/2 hh.

Mayfleur's pedigree has 5 crosses to Princequllio through the highly coveted Prince John. She is a good mover and passes this on to her offspring.

Wiseguy’s sire Dublin, is an imported Dutch stallion and winner of the 1988 Dutch stallion Performance test in Ermelo, Holland. He carries the versatile blood of Ulft (sire of Olympic Ferro) and Lucky Boy (sire of many international jumpers). Dublin sired 2 approved Dutch stallions including Iron Spring Farms’ dressage sensation, Juventus. He left behind in Holland, national Dutch champions, many ster mares, as well as many competition horses in both dressage and jumping. Wiseguy is a nice combination of his sire and dam.

ZORA - $12,500 Canadian
2004 Golden Bay Dutch Mare
(Eastern Ruler x Kitti)

Very striking golden bay, Dutch registered mare with star and 2 hind socks. 16.2 ½ hh Zora is big bodied with good bone. She is friendly and easy to handle. She moves very well and has a good jump. Started under saddle in summer 2008, she has come along very quickly. She has a lovely smooth, steady canter and is very easy to ride. She learns quickly and the trainer has enjoyed working with her. She should make a very nice hunter.

Zora’s dam, Kitti was imported from Germany. She produced very good moving offspring with good temperaments such as Kassanova who won many classes with juniors in dressage, equitation, and hunter classes, as well as eventing. He won the Elke Otremba Humphrey Memorial Award in dressage.

Zora’s sire, the Dutch Warmblood stallion Eastern Ruler, is by the great G. Ramiro Z., and has produced Grand Champion horses at the Toronto Royal and top ranked hunters and dressage champions in both the U.S. and Canada.
