Olive is registered with the German Oldenburg Verband. In 2006 she was inspected and approved into the German Oldenburg Verband Main Mare Book. She is very pretty with an exquisite head and big soft eye. She is an exceptional mover with lots of suspension as well as good drive from behind. She has a very good jump and should excel in either the dressage or hunter ring. In September 2007 she was started under saddle (having had 2 foals in the last 2 years). She was very easy and willing and has a wonderful rhythmic trot. She appears to enjoy being worked and looks very happy while being ridden. She is 15.2 ½ hh and should make a super partner for a junior/amateur rider. Olive’s 2007 filly, Amazing Grace was rated Premium by the German Oldenburg Verband. She also produced the 2006 colt, Antonio. She passes on both her movement and temperament.

Olivia’s dam Erste Liebe (by Elektron), a very pretty Hanoverian mare, competed successfully in dressage. She had a very good, quiet temperament that she passed on to all her offspring. She was inspected and approved into the Main Mare Book of the German Oldenburg Verband.

Olivia’s sire is the imported Dutch stallion, Odilon. In 2005 Odilon was the 3rd level Provincial Reserve Champion in dressage in Alberta. He is currently competing at level 4 and schooling Prix St. George. Odilon is by the well known Dutch dressage stallion, Inspekteur (by Darwin) who is known for producing exceptional movement along with a great temperament.

2002 Dark Bay Dutch/Thoroughbred Mare

Flashy dark bay mare with lots of chrome. A solid 16 hh. Started under saddle in 2005, Evita was simple, uncomplicated and easy to start. She moves well with a beautiful canter. In 2007 Evita had her first foal, a very striking handsome bay colt with chrome and a unique silver tail. Evita was inspected and approved for breeding by the German Oldenburg Verband. She was a very good mom and did an excellent job raising her colt (See 2007 Foal “Arco”). As of October 2007 Evita will be ready to resume training or can be bred in the spring for a 2009 foal. Evita is registered with the Canadian Warmblood Association.

Evita’s dam, Gift of the Gab is by the Thoroughbred stallion, Main Debut, who is known for producing very pretty offspring who do well in the hunter ring.

Evita is stamped by her sire, the Dutch Warmblood stallion Eastern Ruler, who is a proven hunter sire. Eastern Ruler, is by the great G. Ramiro Z., and has produced Grand Champion horses at the Toronto Royal and top ranked hunters and dressage champions in both the U.S. and Canada.
