Sire Line

Dublin's sire, Ulft, is the #1 Dressage sire in the world according to the 1999/2000 WBFSH breeding guide.
Ulft
Ulft's sons in Holland include Olympic Ferro, Dublin, Ducaat and Boston.  Olympic Ferro was a silver medalist in dressage at the Sydney Olympics. For those whose passion lies in producing show jumpers it may be interesting to note that Jonathan Millar, Ian Millar's son, is currently riding an Ulft son, Fine Line.  This young International Grand Prix jumper was an alternate on the Canadian Olympic team for the 2000 Sydney Olympics. It is also interesting to note that Ulft himself made his debut in showjumping.  Ulft  is a descendent of the versatile Furioso xx line. Ulft's  famous  Dutch sire, Le Mexico (by Mexico) was known for his ability to produce top jumping horses and very good movers. Mexico, of course, is a full brother to Furioso II.  Dublin's sire line has produced many Olympic medalists in both jumping and dressage.

Dam Line

Dublin's dam the keur pref mare Sulana, has produced 2 approved stallions, Dublin and Boston. Boston, Dublin's full brother, was an International Show Jumper. Sulana has been given the highest predicates that can be awarded to a mare. She is from a strong motherline full of Pref & Keur mares. Her sire is the preferent stallion Lucky Boy xx. In Holland, Lucky Boy xx is described as "being a concept throughout the world". He is considered one of the best Thoroughbreds in warmblood breeding and has produced many International Show Jumpers.  In North America his children and grand children continue to excel not only in the jumper ring but also in the hunter ring.

Sulana's dam the keur pref mare Julana is by the keur stallion Fresco, used extensively by the Dutch, and can be found as the dam sire to Fairplay. As well as Dublin, Fresco can also be found in the same location in the pedigree as the very successful and talented Dutch dressage stallion Idocus. The last dam sire found in Dublin's pedigree needs no introduction and is the Preferent stallion Amor, a legend in Holland and one of the worlds top producers of dressage horses. Dublin's dam line has produced many Olympic medalists in both jumping and dressage.

Dublin Ancestry

"Dublin's sire Ulft was the first stallion ever to be granted a 9 for the dressage test. 'Keur' Le Mexico, sire of Ulft, is a pre-eminent progenitor of showjumpers, thus earning his fifth place in the jumping index.

Dam of Ulft is 'Keur' Pia, who performed at L. level. This may seem very modest, but how many broodmares even reach this level? Pia is by Pericles xx out of ster preferent Elmi, who reached M-level jumping and dressage. Elmi is by 'keur' Waldo, one of the last stallions left of the Domburg lineage. Dam of Dublin is 'keur' Sulana, who is dam of the approved stallion Boston and of another stallion that reached the second round of the National Stallion Examination. Sulana's sire is 'preferent' Lucky Boy xx, whose name is a concept throughout the world. He owes his 16th place in the jumping index to sport horses such as Aminka, Balistro, Bonjour, The Freak, US Neapolitan, The Victor and Zazou."
