Mr. Victor Feldbrill, then the conductor of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, donated the Victor Feldbrill Trophy to the Winnipeg Music Festival in 1963. This trophy is awarded for the most outstanding Solo String Performance during the Festival.
