The Winnipeg Bach Organization donated the Winnipeg Bach Festival Trophy to the Winnipeg Music Festival in 1988. This trophy was originally awarded annually for the most outstanding performance of a composition by J.S. Bach during the Festival. It is currently awarded for the most outstanding solo performance of a composition of J.S. Bach by a String Performer, Grade 9 to Honours.
