Subdistrict #40 - Boggy Creek Watershed

 
large product photo   The Boggy Creek and Brookdale Drain Watershed has an area of about 302 square miles. The Boggy Creek begins near Minnedosa at an elevation of about 1800 feet and flows south east to Ingelow and then heads north to Neepawa. The total drop is about 600 feet over about 40 miles.
The other significant waterway is the Brookdale Drain. The watershed also includes Lake Irwin and dam.

This subdistrict includes portions of the RM's of Langford, North Cypress, Elton and Odanah.

The subdistrict's annual maintenance budget is about $45,000.
