Youth Employment Strategy Program Information Available
The Youth Employment Strategy is the Government of Canada's commitment to help young people, particularly those facing barriers to employment, get the information and gain the skills, work experience and abilities they need to make a successful transition to the workplace. www.youth.gc.ca
The Youth Employment Strategy includes three programs:

- Group-Based Employability Skills
- Work Experience
- Individual Skills Enhancement
- Employability Skills Through Community Service
- Employability Skills through Work experience
- Employability Skills through Entrepreneurship
Career Focus
- Will provide funding for employers to help post-secondary graduates get career related work experience
and develop advanced skills
Summer Work Experience
- Provides wage subsidies that create summer employment opportunities for secondary and post-secondary students
