Nystagmus is the rhythmical and involuntary movement of the eye(s). It is a condition that indicates the presence of other eyes conditions because its physical characteristics are a result of the eyes searching for focus. There are two types: congenital (acquired before birth and common in most children) and adventitious (acquired after birth).
