Hello! My name is Michael as you've probably already guessed. I created this website so you can see how I live my life as an visually impaired person. In grade 3, I noticed I was losing my vision. In the beginning of one week my vision was normal. By the end of that same week, however, I opened a book to read and I noticed that the words had become extremely smaller. My family and I flew to Ottawa to do some tests on my eyes. Then, shortly after that trip, I tried glasses but they didn't help at all. In grade 4, I started receiving equipment to help me in school and at home. In grade 6, I started to discover computers and that led me to designing this website.  Take a look around, stay posted for new updates, and I hope you enjoy my website!

Michael will be awarded a certificate and prize money near the end of October 2009 for qualifing in 3rd place for participating in the CNIB Braille Writting Contest across Canada! I would like to thank family and friends who encouraged me to participate in this contest.
