Joint Visiting Committee
| The Joint Hospital Visiting Committee is in need of more Volunteers to
carry out our mandate to visit Veterans in Winnipeg Hospitals once a week and Veterans in
Personal Care Homes at least once a month. We need a Volunteer to visit St. Boniface Hospital one day every month and one or more Volunteers to visit Concordia, Grace, Seven Oaks, Rehabilitation, Health Science and Victoria Hospitals, so they can be visited each week, a total of ten volunteers. Some of the Personal Care Homes are being visited once a month, with more Volunteers, all Personal Care Homes could be visited twice a month. There are Twenty Three Branches in Winnipeg, only ten are active in Joint Hospital Visiting. There are Twenty Ladies Auxiliaries in Winnipeg, only ten are active in Joint Hospital Visiting. If a Branch or Ladies Auxiliary would like to have a Committee member attend their meeting or require more information they can contact the Chairman, Gordon Schmidt at 661- 2942. |
