Over the last few years of doing this hobby, many people have asked me two questions.

One, what ever made you start Sandblasting ceramic tile in your basement, and two, now the hell do you do it?
As for One, just seemed like the thing to do, and two, read on.

The first and most important part of the process, is your overall concept, artwork and graphic design and layout.

To use an old Computer Tech term ( GIGO )

Garbage In, Garbage Out

I will be using for this tutorial a Family crest I did for a friend. He has graciously allowed me to use it for this project tutorial.

So without further delay - The Project

The concept artwork too the right was sent to me by I-phone so the quality is quite good. Unfortunately after scaling for the web it loess's something.

The next graphic panel represents the finished and approved design graphic for the project. At this point the Graphic is Cuttable, and ready for a Plotter or your local Sign Shop..

The photo to the right is of a tile with a stencil applied and weeded or peeled out. At this point it is ready for Sandblasting.

The final photo is of the finished project.
