About || Criteria || Past Recipients || Nominations || Top The Heart of Hospice Award is an annual award given to one individual, and to one group as special recognition for their outstanding contribution in furthering the work of Westman Hospice. The essence of this award is the three "H"s of hospice: Heart, Help and Hope. Volunteers are the "Heart" of hospice. Their "Help"ing hands provide direct service to clients & families, or show consistent support to the organization which allows it to fulfill its' mission. "Hope" is essential both in the process of dying (client), grieving (family) and growing (volunteers & the organization). Based on the following criteria members are asked to recommend one individual and one organization whom you think should be honoured with this award at our October AGM.
