Dean Wasylowski has been with Kalyna since 1988. He shares the lead vocals and plays violin, bass, and mandolin. As well, he is responsible for booking the band. Dean is a teacher at Lincoln Middle School, which keeps him very busy. As well, Dean is the host of the Saturday Zabava radio program on 810 CKJS. In whatever spare time there is, Dean will share it with his family.
