The Angels in the Holy Torah

Angels are mentioned a number of times in the Holy
Torah,  (the Pentateuch), which are the first five books
of the Holy Bible, written by the Patriarch Moses.  Angels
often appear in human form before Mankind, wingless
and in contemporary clothing.

In Genesis 16, an Angel appeared before Hagar, the handmaiden of Sarai, wandering in the wilderness, and said to her:
"Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai.

And the ANGEL of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and submit thyself under her hands.

And the ANGEL of the LORD said unto her, I will multiply thy seed exceedingly, that it shall not be numbered for multitude."

In Genesis 22, we read of the encounter of Abraham with an Angel during the intended sacrifice of his only son, Isaac.
And the ANGEL of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:  That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;  And in thy seed shall of all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice."
In Genesis 28, we read of Jacob's dream and Jacob's ladder of Angels.
"And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the ANGELS of God ascending and descending on it.

And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;

And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of."

In Exodus 3, we read of the encounter of Moses with an Angel:
"And the ANGEL of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.  And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.  And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I."
In Numbers 20, we read:
"And when we cried unto the LORD, he heard our voice, and sent an ANGEL, and hath brought us forth out of Egypt........"
