Amateur Radio Club invites you to join us next year at Field Day
2010

Here's your
opportunity to see how stations are set up and operated under field
conditions (no mains power). It's a chance to get on HF and "eyeball"
other hams.
- There will be many
displays. You are welcome to help with set up, which begins
at 1000 hours,
Saturday, June 27. We go on the air at 1300 hours.
- We will have HF
operating positions available on a first come, first served basis
for a 24-hour period ending at 1300 hours on Sunday, June
28. Then
take-down begins.
- Remember to bring your
own chairs.
Amateur
Radio is a great "Family Hobby"
For those
of you who have been thinking about the Amateur Radio hobby, Field
Day is a great way to experience the many aspects of Amateur Radio.
We invite you to bring the whole family and enjoy the fun! You can
watch Amateur Radio Operators talk with other HAMS that are
miles away, throughout Canada and the US, at stations set up in places like parks, schoolyards! Watch Amateur Radio Operators in action communication around the globe with methods from Morse Code to Satelite or Moon Bounce!

about Amateur (HAM) Radio and wondered.....
- Come out and try FM radio for yourself!
- Try Sending MORSE CODE!
- See various modes in action, including
voice, digital, morse code, packet radio, internet linking and satellite.
- Learn what it takes to get your own licence.
- Ask questions you've had about Amateur
Radio.
- Can you "Text" faster than a Ham can send Morse Code??

is 146.820- Mhz
Once inside
the park, follow the posted signs directing you to our site. We recommend
entering the park through the east gate, from Hwy. 206.
