Whether it is fishing, hunting, or just a family vacation,
you will find your stay at Viking Lodge a most pleasant and enjoyable
one. Here you will find some of the fishing you have dreamed about. The
main species of fish are Walleyes, record sized Lake Trout, and tackle smashing
Northern Pike in abundance.
We have 16-foot boats for your comfort and safety, and 25 H.P. or larger outboards that run fast and smooth to take you to the best spots quickly. Qualified mechanic on duty for any repairs and parts for your motors/boats and ours.
There are five lakes, all accessible by water without any portages; First Cranberry Lake, approximately six miles long; Second Cranberry Lake, approximately seven miles long; Third Cranberry Lake, approximately nine miles long; ten miles of the winding Grassy River, then Elbow Lake, which is six miles long. Simon House Lake is approximately 15 miles long and is connected by five miles of narrows off from Second Cranberry. By short portages, there are four other lakes, all noted for their good fishing. We have boats on these lakes for your convenience. Join us, and treat yourself to a pleasant and exciting vacation and be sure to bring your camera.
