Black Overo
Shadow stands at 16hh and is a minimal colored Overo. He is not only tall, but he has the length to go with it, a good neck line and head to round off his confirmation. He produces leggy foals as the pictures show. His foals are all very quiet and intelligent as they inherit these genes from him. Even in the breeding season Shadow always has time for a rub under the chin when I go to the pasture to check on things.
His pedigree goes back to the great Quarter Horse stud Sonny Dee Bar. Then we go right into the paints; Mark IV, Blue Mark and Louie Blue. Finally back to the black and white in Keyhole Ka Bluey. These are just on the top. The bottom side is almost as good with names like Cee Chester Bar, Poco Dusty Steel and Cochima.
