About Us

Beaver Pond Farm came into being in 1992 when we bought some land and moved out to the country to have a place to keep our growing band of horses.  Prior to that we were "town dwellers" and rented a small pasture to keep our horses.

As we purchased more pasture land than we required, we thought we would increase our number of brood mares and raise a few horses.  At the same time the Paint Horse breed was climbing in popularity in the area and we chose to raise this breed because of the unique colour patterns.  No two horses are the same.  There is nothing more beautiful  then seeing  a pasture full of colour.

We have bought and sold a lot of horses to try and produce what we think are quality, quiet horses.  We have tried to get a good cross section of mares in our band. We have bloodlines from Rachett, Jetalito, Texan Bar Time and Sonny Dee Bar.  We believe we produce not only quality horses but also sensible horses you can do anything with.

Nothing gives us more pleasure then receiving letters from individuals who have bought our foals at sales thanking us for producing foals that are so easy  to work with and easy to train.

Riding is a pleasure and no one should have a horse that makes them work on a ride.

Sincerely,

James A Boucher
