In 2003 the ST Owner's Club (STOC) lost a couple of good men. Dennis Ryan and Garrett Rinehart left behind two loving families and many riding friends. While some were fortunate enough to meet Dennis and Garrett in person, others became friends through the motorcycle forums of www.my-mc.com. Regardless, they are missed by all who knew them and our hearts go out to their families. FriendSToc began out of a desire to honor these men and help out their families. JJJ Pre-ride from Georgetown, KY to the Village Inn in Harrisonburg, VA
Friday:
Most riders will be showing up sometime during the day to meet and tell lies.
Saturday:
Riding will commence at approximately 8:00am. There will not be any "official" routes posted, but West Virginia has no shortage of great roads. The Rides page has a few ideas for those unfamiliar with the area. Above all, enjoy the day and come back safe.
There will be an evening banquet at the
Inn with more details to follow.
There
will also be the usual impromptu roasting, and more lies will be told. In
prior years we have held an auction in order to raise funds for a worthy cause.
It looks like the auction will be back
and we're hoping Uncle Phil will once again hold the gavel and make sure no one
leaves with money in their pockets. If you have something of value that's
motorcycle related (can be new or used), bring it with you and support a worthy
cause.
