The Owl and the Pussycat
The classic poem of love and marriage by Edward Lear,
set to music by LuLu and the TomCat
and illustrated by Natalie Kalashnikov.
Sheet music included.

The illustrations by Natalie are meaningful, and "kid-friendly."

Interesting detail and friendly characters
keep the reader's attention focused on the words and meanings.
Affective learning happens because colouring the pictures
makes the book more personal to the child.

Sheet music is included in all of the "Sing-a-Books".
This aids the teacher, parent or young musician
to add another dimension to the magical reading experience.
Sheet music can also be used to integrate reading into the music class.
Sheet music also provides the learner with the morphemes (smallest units of meaning)
needed to decode words since each note contains
only one unit of sound.
