STUART:
Alexander Stuart was born about 1805 at Inveravon, Banffshire, Scotland. He was a farm labourer and married Elspet Middleton on January 16, 1836 at Inveravon. Elspet was baptized April 4, 1812 at Inveravon, the daughter of Thomas Middleton and Anne Mitchell. They had ten children, five girls and five boys. Alexander died before the 1881 census.
