PALMER:
My Palmer family came from Bradworthy, Devonshire, England to Hope Township, Durham County, Ontario. The earliest known family was that of Matthew Palmer & Elizabeth Eastaway. Matthew was born about 1720 and died on March 12, 1784 and Elizabeth was born about 1720 and died on June 25, 1797. They had a family of three girls and three boys. One of the sons was William Palmer, my great-great-great grandfather. William was married to Elizabeth Oke and they had a family of eight sons and two daughters.
Elias Palmer married Elizabeth _____ and they had three daughters and two sons.
Mathew Palmer married Thomasine Bullied and they had three daughters and seven sons.
Elizabeth Palmer married John Barkwell and they had six sons and four daughters.
Mary Palmer there is nothing known about at this time.
William Palmer married Eliza Butt and they had six daughters and five sons.
John Palmer married Ann _____ and they had five sons and two daughters.
Thomas Palmer married Charlotte Hopper and they had five sons and two daughters.
Julius Palmer married Ann McKinley and they had one daughter.
Jesse Palmer was not married.
Joshua Palmer married Annie Birks and they had five daughters and four sons.
