LEWIS:
My Lewis family originates, as far back as we have found, from John Lewis and his wife Sarah _____ who lived in the vicinity of Aghory, County Armagh, Ireland. John was born about 1747 and died on November 20, 1829. Sarah was born about 1750 and died on September 10, 1830. They are buried in Mullavilly, County Armagh. Our research shows they had a family of eight children, six boys and two girls. Their children appear to be William, Robert "Robin", Jennie, _____, John, James, Samuel and Alexander. Many of these families or their descendants seemed to have come to Canada, most settling in Mono Township, Dufferin County, Ontario, at least for some time.
William Lewis don't know anything about at this time.
Robert Lewis married _____ Wright and had at least two sons and two daughters.
Jennie Lewis married Adam Ballentine and had at least three sons.

John Lewis was married three times, first to _____ Donnelly, second to _____ Wilson and third to Mary Harbison. There was no family with the first wife, one son with the second and three daughters and two sons with the third wife.
