- "A" group will
play the other 5 teams in their own group once per round. There will be a crossover game for "B" & "C" group, with the winner being awarded 9 points and the loser 3 points.
- At the end of each round, the teams are reassigned to
groups based on accumulated points for the season.
- All games 8 ends or 1:45 hr bell.
- Spares must play lead or lead and second.
- Tied games will be decided by an extra end.
- Games that may need to be rescheduled are to be played before the end of the Round.
For games that are missed due to a MCA event only, and a rescheduled time cannot be agreed upon, the offending team will receive points for the loss and not ‘0’ for the default.
We ask that teams try to be co-operative when this situation occurs since these teams are representing the Thistle Curling Club.
A default occurs when a team fails to give enough notice to its opposition about not being able to play the game. That team will be considered to be in default and therefore will not be awarded any points for that particular game.
- Group winner of each round during regular season play wins a spot in the group play-offs.
- The highest group you won a round in is where you play in play-offs
- Round winner tie breakers are determined by:
1) Head to head
2) Higher points in standing.
- Club Championship play-off is awarded to the top 5 teams in point
standings at the end of regular season play, plus the top 3 teams from Wednesday night. Any team that doesn't make the club championships can elect to play in the Leon Tonnellier Cup.
- Grand Aggregate winner is awarded to the team with the most points
at the end of regular season play.
