2006 Photo Submission Phase

The photo collection phase for the 395 Corgis-a-Year Calendar
for the year 2006 will be from Feb 1st to Nov 30th 2004.
This will be the 8th year of publication for this custom calendar.
We will be accepting photos of both Cardis and Pems.

This press-printed, color wall calendar will measure 14" by 27" when fully opened.
Each day of the year will have a picture of a corgi approximately 2"x 2".
The dog's name, owner's name and location will be included under each photo.

Preference will be given to actual photo prints.
Photos should be of good quality and be in focus.
They should measure no smaller than a 4x6 and no larger than an 8x12.
Photos can fall into various categories ..........
(frapping, agility, humorous, Rainbow Bridge, puppy, portraits, holiday themes, etc.)

Include the dog's name, owner's name and location (adhered to each photo via label).
If your corgi has earned a Championship or other achievement, and you wish
to include "titles", please note that because of limited space, we can only allow
one extra line in our identification area. As well, if you wish to identify
your furkid as a loveable rescue, this can also be included.
This also pertains to Rainbow Bridge information.

Do not use an ink pen to write directly on the back of your photos, as ink
does not dry completely and will transfer to other photos and ruin them.
USE LABELS.
Even writing with light pressure on the back of photos, while easy and convenient,
can result with the written impressions transferring to the front side of the photo.
Requested photo returns will be sent back at the time your calendar order is mailed.
If possible, we would prefer duplicate prints of photos that will not need to be returned.

We will not accept photocopies or computer inkjet printouts.

If 35 mm camera prints are unavailable, we may consider digital camera images.
Digital camera images must be submitted on a CD-Rom
and not as email attachments. Printouts must be included as well.
Digital cameras that record images of at least 3.1 megapixels are preferable
over lower resolution cameras (1.2 megapixels.).
The camera setting should be set to"large file format."
If you feel you have good photos taken with a digital camera,
but in a lower resolution, small file format, please consider using digital
processing companies like "Ofoto.com" that convert electronic files into photo prints.

Please package photos with extra cardboard so the photos do not get bent in the
process of mailing. Also write "Photos, Do Not Bend" on the envelope. Please be sure
to include your e-mail address, return mailing address, and telephone number with
your photos, so that we can contact you prior to the calendar being completed.

By sending me your photos you grant me the right to scan and use your photo in this
calendar without any compensation, however, you still retain the rights to your photos.
We do not require sole use or limitation of the photos, and you are not restricted from
using your photos on websites or other projects. If professional studio photographs are
submitted, then copyright releases have to be obtained from the studio photographer
and submitted with the photos. More than one photo can be submitted per owner.
There is no charge for submitting photos, however, it is assumed that by submitting a
photo, you are also intending on making at least a minimum purchase of one calendar.

The photo deadline is November 30, 2004.

As photos are received, a list will be made, by country, acknowledging the individuals
who have submitted photos. However this list is not an indication that any of their
photos will be automatically used in the calendar. There will be a photo selection phase
and we reserve the right to make any and all final decisions regarding photo selections.

so that we can contact you at any time regarding progress updates and recent news.
