About Us

Our Mission

Through our Baptism and Confirmation we have received the gifts of the Spirit and we are called, as disciples, to live them within our community.

"the king will say to those at his right hand, 'Come, you that are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me,  I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.'" Matthew 25: 34-36

Founded in 1905 St. Viator's has been a strong part of the Catholic Community of Dauphin and area for almost one century. We are able to share in the rich ethnic heritage of the people of our area, people of Polish, French, Ukrainian, German, Filipino and many other backgrounds. We also have the great honour of sharing and learning from the rich traditions of the First Nation people of our area. Our church community extends beyond the awesome edifice, bringing the gospel to all the aspects of life in our area. We draw parishioners from many communities: Dauphin, Ochre River, Ethelbert, Fork River, Sifton, Ashville and Gilbert Plains.
