Chewy was the foundation bitch of Ceterra Kennels. She is in Canadian Kennel Clubs history books by being the first Affenpinscher in Canada to win an All Breed Best in Show. She was the top Affenpinscher in 1987. Sadly Chewy left us in 2000, but her legacy lives on.

Robbie hit the Canadian Dog Show Scene with a bang. He won back to back Best Puppy in Shows, he was a multiple group winner before his first birthday. He was the top winning Affenpinscher of all time in Canada until 2004 when his great grandson replaced him. His credits also include an American All Breed Best in Show and the 1991 ACA National Specialty Winner. Robbie left us on January 25, 2005 at the age of 16 1/2.

Gibbon was my first show dog. He is still my best buddy. He was never a great show dog (although I think he is pretty great), but he taught me a lot of things. He turned 14 on March 22, 2004. Sadly I had to say goodbye to Gibbon on July 6, 2004. A better dog you could not ask for.

Picture of Dakota
Can./Am. Ch. Ceterras Little Margie Mud Pie

Dakota had multiple group placements in her show career. She is the mother of my Ria dog. As a puppy she was Reserve Winners bitch as a puppy at the ACA National Specialty that her father won breed at and came back the following year to win to win Best of Winners.  Dakota has now joined her sire and dam across the Rainbow bridge, on November 2, 2005. She was 15.

Now, Ria was a show dog. She finished her Canadian Championship in 5 shows at the ripe old age of 7 months. In those 2 weekends she got a Group 2, a Group 4, and 3 Puppy Groups. She is the only affen to beat Robbie at Breed level in Canada. In 1995, she was the top Affen in Canada. She is a multiple Group winner. She is retired now, and comes out to play at specialties.

Meg was the first in her litter to finish her Championship. She is one of the few non black Affens to place in the Toy Group in Canada. With limited showing she always manages to place in the top 5 for the breed in Canada. In 2000 she became the first non black Affen to win the breed at the Prairie Toy Association Specialty. She is one of the sweetest dogs you will every meet.

Gabby was special from the moment she was born. She is a brat. She is a multiple Group winner. To me, Gabby comes pretty close to what an Affen should be. She was the # 1 Affen in Canada in 2001. She finished her American title in February of 2004. She is a multiple Group winner.

Can/Am. Ch. Tamarin Tabasco

Saucy came to us from Sunny California in 2001. I beleive she is the first all natural non black affenpinscher Champion in Canada. I am not sure if she is the first all naturual Canadian Champion. She lives with Lorna and is a full sister to multi. BISS BIS Am Ch. Tamarin Travis and multi BIS Am. Ch. Tamarin Tip Off. Pedigree coming soon
