All the kids will be vaccinated with Glanvac 3 for protection. The Does receive their annual booster 2 weeks before kidding. Does and kids are dewormed several times a year with ither Valbazen or Ivomec. The kids are started on oats plus 16% Dairy Ration which is also the milkers ration. The hay is either alfalfa, brome or a mixture.
We try to have a yearly *M test plus classification. We usually try to attend the local sanctioned shows, about 4 per year.
In our breeding program we are striving for goats of sound conformation that can milk well in our harsh climate. These goats are Manitoba Hardy!!
