Voice of Reason

Ever heard the voice of reason, and not been quite happy with it?
'Guess the dreaming and thinking is over.
The question has been answered, the response seems correct.
It doesn't bother me one way or the other, which is as it should.
Though that may change again, it sure did once;
Funny how the right words can change things, make us question...
So maybe the question isn't answered at all, it was really just a vague answer,
for while it answered the question, it didn't disallow the possibly...
which means I still can (if I want), take a chance on the possibility.
But I'll lay it to rest for now,
Let the sun shine through my window,
I'll know when it truly matters.

Always in my thoughts though...
