Invisible

Take a step back,
look at all that has passed.
What do you see?
I know you do not see me,
I am invisible to you.
Well, maybe,
not quite,
you do still see me,
but not in anyway that i might like or want.
All the things that have passed,
you do not remember,
is that because they did not mean anything?
For me they did, but then I am just a romantic fool,
whose memories never fade with time.
So slowly I will let you fade away,
because maybe it will get easier then.
But for now, believe me when i say,
it still hurts.
