Familiar Face in a Special Place

It's hard to say goodbye to a place,
where you've been so long.
Even if deep down in your heart
you know you dont belong.
It's memories cherished in a special place,
a simple smile, a familiar face.
A place you've come to know and share,
and meet with others who love to care.
And in this room old strangers sit,
saying bye to each other, bit by bit.
For at the end of this last day,
each shall go their separate way.
