I'm falling, screaming,
Trying to get out of this abyss,
And then you push off my hands again.
Don't bother me,
Leave me alone,
I can do it on my own.
I don't need you watching, wishing I would fail.
So go away, leave me alone,
All you do is bring me down.
Standing here, I can see you,
Want to slap you,
Take that look right off your face.
See me now,
I can beat this, I don't need you,
You've never meant anything to me.
Tired of your foolish games, making everyone around,
Stop and pay.
But what you don't understand,
Is that even if I fall,
I will rise again, then fall and rise again,
Once more and more.
You will never keep me down.
For in those depths where you'll think I'll meet my end,
There all my friends lay waiting to lift me up.
