Summer Camp [To Be Determined]

A program to teach karate, improve physical ability and have fun. Choose from a half day [9:00am - 12:00pm or 1:00 - 4:00pm] or the full day [9:00am - 4:00pm]. The week long camp is planned for July. Register by May 31st or earlier as class size is limited.

Objectives are to improve: discipline [learn to listen], confidence, strength and flexibility, karate techniques and have FUN. Activities include more than karate. There will be discussions about the principles of a martial art - respect for others and refraining from violence, as well as understanding of self-defence. Exercise games will be used to strengthen the students and to have fun. Karate history and etiquette will be discussed and there will be a video for their enjoyment.

Basic rules are listen to instructors, work hard, and be clean and tidy. Students should wear shorts, t-shirts or sweats. No metal in clothes [zippers, etc.]. The cost is $75 per 1/2 day OR $150 for the full day. Students must bring their own lunch [no nuts to protect others with allergies]. The instructors are fully screened [Winnipeg City Police], First Aid & CPR certified, and have a minimum black belt rank.
