Nov. 17th 1970- For the first time the Soviet "Lunokhod-1" automatic self-propelled apparatus was delivered on the Moon using "Luna-17" probe.
Nov. 18th 1929- Born Shepard, Alan Bartlett, Jr - the first astronaut of the US. Made one suborbital mission and one space mission in 1961 and 1971.
1959- Nike-Asp sounding rocket fired from NASA Wallops Station emitted sodium vapor at 50-mile altitude to 150 miles, revealing powerful windshear effects.
Nov. 19th 1969- Lunar module of spacecraft "Apollo-12" with the crew of C.Conrad and A.Bean carried out the second landing in the history of mankind on the Moon surface.
1999- China conducted the pilotless launch of "Shen Zhou-1" the first Chinese pilot spacecraft. The test flight was successful.
