- Council Resolved to permit C. Roy to build a fence around her property.
- Council resolved to advertise that effective January 1, 2010 persons dumping demolition waste into landfill sites will be charged a fee of $4.50 per cubic yard; and also effective January 1, 2010 a bag limit of 2 bags of household waste and 3 bags of yard waste per residence within the Village of Ochre River and at the beached will be picked up by the Garbage Collector.
- Council resolved that the R.M. of Ochre River cost share 50/50 with the LUD of Ochre River towards the purchase of a street sign for East Avenue.

- Council resolved to cost share with the RM of Ste. Rose to extend the culvert NE14-24-16W.
- Councillor Cleave reported that the Ochre River Recreation Committee have applied for a grant to replace the bleachers.
- Councillor Cleave reported that the Country Blends fundraiser for the Ste. Rose Hanidvan made $1,653.00 in profit.
- Councillor Watts reported that the Dauphin Vet Clinic Board discussed having the municipalities pay Board members time and milage rather than coming out of Board expenditures. He also reported that the new vet is working out and that they are looking for one more.
- Councillors Watts & Wildeboer reported on the Lakeshore Planning District meeting. Our cost sharing is down 23% due to the RM of Dauphin joining. Digital Mapping is a go for this fall. They have tentatively signed an agreement to have MRB Planning Consultants & Genivar re-visit the development and zoning by-laws.
- Reeve Janssen & Councillor Watts reported on the Crescent Cove Cottage Owners Meeting. They agreed to supply the Committee a bulletin board and supplies to fix their sign. Sewer & water, mowing of road allowances, the new planned subdivision and Assessment increases were discussed. The Dog & Cat letter was clarified.
- Council resolved to hire Edwards Plumbing and Heating to install a new geothermal heat / air system in the Ochre River Community Hall.
- Council resolved to purchase a pull type grader for the John Deere tractor to be used in the Ochre River Village backlanes. The Village of Ochre River will contibute towards the purchase.

- Council resolved to grant the variance requested by Rick & Shelley Sorensen as presented at the Public Hearing held June 9, 2009.
- The R.M. of Ochre River will donate $25.00 to the Ochre River School Awards Night.
- Council has resolved to support the Village of Bowsman in their efforts to retain their remaining grain elevator.
- Council gave 2nd and 3rd Readings to By-Law #2/2009 - Animal Control By-Law.
- Councillor Cleave reported on the Imagination Library and Council resolved to to donate $500.00.
- CAO Murray reported that Gabe Mercier has resigned as Village Committee Member. Council resolved to have the Senior Election Official proceed with a by-election for the L.U.D. of Ochre River.
- Council has hired Sensus Partnership of Accountants to provide auditing services for 2009, 2010 & 2011.
- Council has resolved to purchase Skane's Crossing directional signs.

- Council has resolved to hire Leon Abraham to re-side the East & South sides of the Ochre River Community Hall. A grant was received from the Hometown Manitoba project for 1/3 of the cost.
- Council has resolved to re-submit the application for funding for the Lakeview Drive / Ochre Beach Canal project as the infrastructure application to the Building Canada Fund was not approved.
- Council has given permission to Janice Bennett to install and plant two planters in front of the Municiapl Office.
- Council resolved to adopt the 2009 Financial Plan as presented at the Public Hearing held May 12, 2009.

- Council is in agreement to having the Westlake Vet Board enter into an agreeemnt with Dauphin Vet Clinic to provide service to Westlake Vet Hospital on a term agreement.

- Counicl resolved that the R.M. of Ochre River will take over all running of the Ochre River Community Hall.
- Council has hired Marlene Jacobs to replace the two Between Mountain and Lake signs.

- Council resolved to write a letter to Ron Lemeux and Stan Struther regarding PTH condidtions and guard rail requirements.

- Work has begun on the removal of the Crescent Cove rock pile.

- Council resolved that the RM of Ochre River will be removing the lobby and lean to from the Curling Rink. Insurance pay-out will be used to repair the North wall and rec bathroom water lines. Any balance will be used for Community Hall renovations.

- Council resolved that the RM of Ochre will charge $60.00 / hour for fire inspections.
- Councillor Watts reported the boat launch request for N of 5-25-17 went through the Lakeshore Planning District.
- Councillor Watts & Reeeve Janssen attended the Mountain View School Division Pathway to Success meeting and reported poor attendance from parents. Various options were discussed but the Board did not have answers to many questions.

- The RM of Ochre River has received a B+ from The Manitoba Product Stewardship Corporation for it's 2007-2008 recycling program.
- The Curling Rink Proposal presentation was made by Emily Recknell, Anita Howatt, Ed Loucks, Don Frobisher, Gunnar Damsgaard, Wayne Thompson, Bruce Hannibal, Glen Recknell and Richard Hamilton.
- The RM of Ochre River will purchase a wreath for the Royal Canadian Legion Remeberance Day Service.
- The RM of Ochre River will register and participate in the new Municipal Scrap Tire Storage Incentive Program.
- Council gave 2nd and 3rd readings of By-Laws #12/2008 and #13/2008 regarding the sale to and purchase of property from Eric Altenburg Ltd.
- Councillor Cleave reported that the Ste. Rose District Handivan is planning an outing to Dauphin on the 2nd Wednesday of every month and a stop will be made at Sunny Bay.
- The RM of Ochre River has granted permission to TRWCD to cut brush on the west side of the road - East of 31-24-17.
- Due to changes in Water Stewardship regulations, the municipal grader will no longer do any drainage work on private property until the ratepayer produces approval permits from Water Stewardship.
