| July 10, 2010 So often we see religion as performance. We have to be good, not do bad things, strive to do good things. If you watched The Hour on July 9, 2010, you would have seen a sharp contrast in George Strombo's guests. Richard Dawkins is an Atheist who fully supports evolution, and thinks we should live in awe because of the improbability of our existence. Chris Hedges has written a book which is down on the sort of overbearing atheists, who are as over-the-top as the right-wing fundamentalists. And William P. Young wrote the shack to explain how he found new understanding of God in the trinity, as being relaational. God is interested in us being all we can be. |
