Manitoba's Parkland, home of Fly Fishing Canada's First Canadian Flyfishing Championship (Sept 2003) is no longer one of Canada's best kept secrets. It is fast becoming the destination for fly fishers. FLIPPR, Manitoba Conservation, an number of local municipal governments and NGO's have created and are expanding a world class flat water trout fishery.
Our pothole lakes are unbelievably productive and grow big fish fast. For example, we stocked Paterson Lake in September 2002. Today 20-24 inch rainbow and brown trout trophies are being taken. At present there are some 30 parkland water bodies stocked with brook, rainbow, brown, tiger, and lake trout. A number of water bodies are producing 30 inch trout. A number of water bodies are aerated to ensure over winter survival. Check www.mwflyfishing.net

Fee includes transportation daily to and from your accommodation, eight foot pontoon boat powered by 30 lb thrust electric motor (plus oars) as well as a guide on the water.
To ensure quality experience we prefer small group size (two - four clients per trip). Peak season is from ice out mid May through June, and again Sept through October. July and August are productive also unless we experience extreme high summer temperatures.
Three D also can provide traditional angling opportunities on Lake of the Prairies, Manitoba's premier walleye water. Give us a call and we will meet your needs/desires and provide a firm price quote for your trip.
