We suggest you walk the trails along the river, canoe, or do some bird watchin (very good spot and a lot of bird boxes ). Here at the Rustioc Retreat we grow various types of grain. You are welcome to join us in some seasonal farm work. agarde behind the guest house has been planted to supply you with fresh seasonal vegetables, just for the picking.
The town of Souris also has much to offer. Restaurants, shopping, bird sanctuary, swimming, museums and much more. of course you want to see the swinging bridge and agate shop. Hartney, 11 miles to the south west has a grass green golf course and elgin boasts good trout fishing.
The greemed snowmobile trail goes right by our door. So, come bring your machine's and have some fun.
