Materials:

For next firing:
- prepare glazed pieces in garage one day before loading
- inform garage and leave oil container one day before firing
- arrange shifts during loading
- call Pancho Puelles for pig roast at the end of firing
From previous firings:
- cut wood before rain/snow
- ensure four stacks of wood (1.5 cords) are available
- order wood when back lane is dry
- have mosquito repellant available
- keep work area and house clean and in order
- return and wash dishes and utensils taken from the kitchen
- last firing shift could have used more people
- fire box and throat roof need to be sealed
For this firing
- attempt to apportion work equal to amount of pottery in kiln
- install permanent kiln roof
- schedule kiln furniture clean-up
