Our Eldridge Family

Our family consists of Roy, Debbie, Matthew, and Mark, plus Matthew’s wife, Lisa, and Mark’s partner, Hillary. We live in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

ROY is a graduate of the University of Manitoba in Science, Education and Administrative Studies.  He retired from teaching at Lorette Collegiate in the Seine River School Division in February, 2006.  He sometimes works as a substitute teacher in Seine River and in St. John's Ravenscourt School.  He also competes in Masters Swimming.

DEBBIE is a graduate of the University of Manitoba in Arts, Education and Special Education.  She currently works as a substitute teacher in the Seine River School Division.

MATTHEW graduated in May, 2006, with a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba.  He majored in accounting and human resources.  He is working as a Human Resource Advisor for Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada.  A picture of Matthew at work at a career fair in Brandon appeared in the Brandon Sun on Jan. 20, 2011.  He plays men’s water polo with The Neptunes Water Polo Club.

LISA grew up in Brandon, Manitoba.  She also graduated from the Asper School of Business with the gold medal in Human Resources.  She is a Policy and Program Development Coordinator for the Civil Service Commission of Manitoba.

MARK graduated in May, 2008, from the Faculty of Physical Education and in June, 2011 from the Faculty of Education at the University of Manitoba  Currently he is teaching éducation physique at École Guyot in the Louis Riel School Division.  In March he will be teaching éducation physique at École Tuxedo Park in the Pembina Trails School Division He continues to play Ultimate on several teams, including the General Strike, the Manitoba Men's provincial team.  An action picture of Mark (in white, jumping) playing Ultimate appeared in the Winnipeg Free Press on October 20, 2002.  Mark works as a server in the Montana's Restaurant  at the St. Vital Shopping Centre.

HILLARY is also a graduate of the Faculty of Physical Education and the Faculty of Education at the University of Manitoba.  She is a phys.ed. teacher at Hedges Middle School in the St. James School Division.  She occasionally works at Mallabar Apparels and at the St. James YMCA.  She currently is a member of Fusion, the Manitoba Women's provincial Ultimate team.
