Sandy Elliot team was a force to be reckoned with in NHRA Super Stock Eliminator
Barrie Poole became the first Canadian to win an NHRA national event
with a victory at the 1970 Winternationals in Pomona
Poole repeated the feat in 1971 with John Elliot winning the Springnationals the same year
the team also won numerous Div. 3 championships as well as Canadian Nationals titles
