built by Al's father, local painter Bob Swanky, unique digger ran a 2 1/2 horse motor
in contributing these photos, Al tells us the times were mid 20's @ 40 mph
he also mentions the time his Dad surprised him by removing the ballast from the car
Al legged it as usual, promptly pulling the front wheels just like the big boys
never lifting, Al ran a full 1/4 wheelstand with a terminal speed of 28 mph
