Finishing her championship at 9 months

Madison in her golden years

Madison, my first homebred champion. I remember going to boxer camp at the Pinskers of Mephisto Boxers when Madison's mom was bred.  I was waiting for a flashy brindle show puppy out of the litter. When the litter was born I was getting worried that my show dog was not in there. I got 2 plain bitches and 2 mismarked puppies and then there was Madison. She went to her first dog show at the age of 7 months. In the 3 days of showing she was best of winners 3 times and came home with 9 points, 1 shy of her championship. She finished at the next show at 9 months of age. She is a group winner, a very good mom, and the best friend a person could have. She was my protector. We had a break in one friday afternoon and Madison was locked in her crate. She tried to chew her way out to protect the house. She was gramma dog to all the puppies here and was very gentle with them and taught them respect.
Madison is mother to 4 Canadian Champions. They are:
Ch. Rasilon's NCC Seventeen O One - BPISS
Ch. Rasilon's Camelot Bronx - BISS
Ch. Rasilon Sizzles At GoldenGlove - BPISS
Ch. Rasilon's Madison's Last Tango
Madison loved the dumbell and although she was never trialed, she did well in agility. She was second fastest dog in our agitlity class coming second only to a lighter, taller Belgian sheepdog.. She would fly around the course carrying her dumbell. She also loved lure coursing. She would always get that plastic rabbit. Madison was a true working dog.. in her own mind anyway. She would always work in the yard wth me. When I cut grass she would follow the tractor as if it was her duty. Even this summer she tried to do her job, it was hard thing to watch. During the past few months my vibrant working girl slowly lost the use of her back legs. They got weaker and weaker and it was getting harder for her to get around. Finally last week they worked no more. My Madison couldn't walk. I made the hardest decision of my life and decided that she would not have to spend any of her days crawling around. Our gramma dog is gone and there will be a hole in my heart from now on. She was such a good dog... Madison is resting beside her mom under the spruce trees at the beach waiting to chase a rabbit, waiting until we meet again. I believe that we have more than one life on this earth and I will look into the whelping box one day and there she'll be. Untill then I will always love you and will always miss you my girl........
