My name is Carolyn, I'm twelve years old,  and I'm Linda Rankmore's niece.  I'll be posting up pictures in the next few months of some of the crafts that I've made.

A picture of my family is on Cheryl's Hobby page.  I'm the one in the red.  Here's me in Halifax with my Aunt Jan, Cheryl & James.

 

I make change purses, pillows, stuffed animals, instrument carry bags, slippers, pillow cases, glasses cases, and I'm working on clothing.  See pictures of my kitten slippers and cushions below:

I've worked on a few sewing projects in industrial arts, and I've been to two years of sewing camp.

I like to paint pictures and makes collages on the computer.  I have a "tiger" collage and a collage of "Lord of the Rings".

Another thing I like to do is bake.  I especially like to make brownies, cookies, and rice krispie squares.  See some samples:

 

Craft of the Month:

Collages:

1.      Enter Microsoft Internet Explorer and type in http://www.google.ca/

2.      Open a blank page in either Microsoft Word, Microsoft Works, or WordPad

3.      Type in the keyword of the object that you want and press ‘Google Search’

4.      Highlight the pictures/information that you want and press ‘copy’

5.      Go onto the blank page and press paste

6.      Keep doing that until you have as much pages as you like

Craft of the Month:

 Change purses: 
1.  Pick material  (4 x 6 inches)
2.  Fold raw edges inside and hem.
3.  Pin material right sides in and sew along three sides.
4.  Turn right side out and use button (or velcro) for closing the top.
